Cancellation Policy

FDS DRIVE READY – TERMS & CONDITIONS 1. Acceptance of Terms By accessing or using the FDS DRIVE READY website and booking platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use this site. 2. Booking Policy All bookings must be made in advance via our Online reservation system. A valid Massachusetts Learner’s Permit and a valid Massachusetts Driver’s License 21 years old +held for at least one year are required. A 2-hour minimum rental applies. Rentals are charged by the hour + MA sales tax 6.25% . 3. Payment Terms Full payment is required at the time of booking. We accept major credit/debit cards via Stripe. Prices are subject to change at our discretion. 4. Cancellations & Refunds Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled rental to receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours are non-refundable. No-shows will be charged the full booking amount. 5. Customer Liability Renters of our vehicles are responsible for the condition and operation of the vehicle. Any damage, traffic violations, or towing fees incurred during the rental period are the full responsibility of the renter. All vehicles are monitored via GPS and dash-cam. 6. Vehicle Use Restrictions Vehicles must not be used for racing, off-roading, smoking, or any unlawful activity. Rental vehicles must remain within Massachusetts state lines unless prior written approval is granted. Franklin Driving School Road Test Cancellation Policy Cancellation Timeline • To avoid a fee, you must cancel your scheduled road test at least 72 hours before the appointment. • Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the scheduled test will be considered late and subject to fees. Fees • If you do not cancel your road test within the required 72-hour window, you will be charged a $35.00 road test fee. • This fee applies whether the cancellation is due to personal reasons, scheduling conflicts, or other circumstances not initiated by the Registry of Motor Vehicles (RMV). Exceptions • Road tests may be cancelled without penalty if the RMV cancels due to weather, safety concerns, or state emergencies. • In such cases, you may reschedule your road test at no additional cost.
